Welcome to my personal page

I’m Wais Jalali

Philanthropist and businessman. Chairman of Cerebrus, LLC.
Father of 4, wine collector and avid reader.
I was born in Afghanistan and came to the US as a child. I didn’t speak the language. Since then, this country has rewarded my hard work with educational opportunities and success in the business and philanthropic arenas. The US gave me the opportunity to be self-made and, in all honestly, gave me everything I have.

I’m an avid reader and was particularly influenced by Sun Tzu’s The Art of War, Machiavelli’s The Princeand Suetonius’ The Twelve Caesars.

My life was heavily influenced by my father who has three doctorate degrees.
My education includes a double major in Engineering and Philosophy and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
I was a professional volleyball player and also played for the US national soccer/football team (under 17).
I am an active sportsman, playing competitive volleyball and soccer/football in my youth, and love to play golf.
I firmly believe that, through innovative energy solutions, we can create a sustainable future for the rapid growth in demand for data centres.
Philanthropy is important to my family and me, by providing underprivileged children with vital opportunities for their future success.

My values

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Quae ista amicitia est? Non risu potius quam oratione eiciendum? Tamen a proposito, inquam, aberramus. Itaque rursus eadem ratione, qua sum paulo ante usus, haerebitis. Haeret in salebra. Progredientibus autem aetatibus sensim tardeve potius quasi nosmet ipsos cognoscimus. Traditur, inquit, ab Epicuro ratio neglegendi doloris. Tum Quintus: Est plane, Piso, ut dicis, inquit. Homines optimi non intellegunt totam rationem everti, si ita res se habeat. Duo Reges: constructio interrete.
Quid, cum volumus nomina eorum, qui quid gesserint, nota
nobis esse, parentes, patriam, multa praeterea minime
necessaria?
Huic mori optimum esse propter desperationem sapientiae, illi propter spem vivere. Quid autem habent admirationis, cum prope accesseris? Ne vitationem quidem doloris ipsam per se quisquam in rebus expetendis putavit, nisi etiam evitare posset. Prodest, inquit, mihi eo esse animo. Quis istud possit, inquit, negare? Igitur neque stultorum quisquam beatus neque sapientium non beatus.
Sed videbimus.
Hic ego: Pomponius quidem, inquam, noster iocari videtur, et fortasse suo iure.
Poterat autem inpune;
Sed quid attinet de rebus tam apertis plura requirere?
Sed haec omittamus;
Sed id ne cogitari quidem potest quale sit, ut non repugnet ipsum sibi.
